Very bssic programming background and i want to do kotling to dive deeper into android app fevelopment .. Is this the right choice? Any tips?

**评论:**

Orffyreus:

Use Kotlin. It's no problem to use Java documentation for Kotlin programming. You will get used to the syntax differences very quickly. Most of the time you will be learning libraries and frameworks and you will be happy, when your Kotlin code looks much nicer than the Java code from the documentation.

Kotlin has some additional idioms like e.g.
apply
and you can learn and use them later on.

Also: Do the Kotlin Koans first! https://kotlinlang.org/docs/tutorials/koans.html

mbuhot:

Kotlin is great but if your just learning Java may be a bit simpler with more documentation available.

texasbruce:

Agree. Java is easier

LightnessMystery:

Java would be better for StackOverflow(shrug)
